Frequently Asked Questions

What are the benefits of becoming a member of a club, team or school?
Being a member first and foremost gives you the ability to participate in races (hopefully up to 20 a year) at a discounted rate. Group training rides, and group runs are usually available to participate in. Use our blog site to network with like minded individuals or groups. Our goal is to spread the fitness bug. The South Valley is a major hot spot for athletes, join in.
Do you provide an EMT or ambulance at your events?
Yes we do. Unless the event is not listed as a race or is very small.
Do you have insurance?
Yes, we provide insurance for each event.
What do you do with race money?
Currently 100% goes back into the company to grow. We hope to run top quality events providing food, bathrooms, EMT's, permits, etc. However we are looking for a good charity to partner with for larger events.
I see you have both bike and run events listed, what is your focus?
Your primary focus is promoting fitness. For everyone, familys, kids, men and women. To do this we are promoting Bike races, Trail runs, Road runs, Kid runs, Duathlons and Triathlons. We hope to grow these events.
Who runs South Valley Endurance?
South Valley Endurance is an LLC partnership with 4 owners.
I'm nervous about entering a "race"?
Everyone is, everytime. Most likely if you are entering an event, you already train. Well there is no better training then racing. Think of the events as training. Most importantly have fun.
Can I get help with my training? I'm a beginner.
Of course you can. We will be putting training programs up for free download on the training link. We will also be providing links for trainers. And please use the blogs as a resource so ask questions.
How do Points series races work?

All points are totaled at the end of the series. We will post points standings a few days after the events. Points are also awarded for King of the hill. Top 3 persons at the top of the hill garner more points.
