Come on out for the first MTB race of the year in our newly titled series "Dirty Gears MTB XC Series".  We submit your points to USA Cycling plus we have some great swag to take home.  A hot meal is always included.  Register early!!!

From North or South Highway 1:
-Take the Light Fighter Dr. Exit (Exit 406),
-Turn Right onto General Jim Moore Blvd,
-Turn Left on Gigling Rd,
-Turn Right on 8th Ave (Cut-off at barricades),
-Turn Left on Parker Flats Rd,
-Turn Left on Eucalyptus,
-Stay on Eucalyptus which turns into Jack's Rd.  
-Event site is at the intersection of Jack's Rd and Skyline.  
-Parking will be on the shoulder of Jack's Rd.

Weather

We also track your series points and King of the Mountain points.  Series winners will receive a very cool award from SVE.

This race will be USA Cycling Sanctioned.  Do not forget to bring your license.  1 day license will be available but we encourage you to apply ahead of time.  There are many benefits to becoming a member. Any questions please email and ask.  All Cat 1 racers are required to present a 1 year license.  You cannot buy this on the spot.

Registration is $30.00 through 1-26-2010. Please register as soon as possible so we can setup your awards, swag bags, and food.

All pre-registered riders will receive a Dirty Gears T Shirt. First through third will receive a medal.  Check the prizes tab for more details!

This race will be limited to 100 persons.  Parking is limited, please carpool.

Dirty Gears Mountain Bike Races
  • Expert Class (Cat 1) - $100.00 for overall winner
  • Sport Class (Cat 2) - $75.00 for overall winner
  • Beginner Class(Cat 3) - $50.00 for overall winner
  • Men and women each get the prizes

  • Medals for the top 3 in each class
  • Winner in each class receives a water bottle, 48 pack of GU, RoadID gift certificate or a tube

** 10 persons minimum in Expert must be entered, 20 persons in Sport, and 30 in Beginner. So call your friends. Experts must have their USA Cycling License, you cannot change on site. We also have prizes for each class.


Dirty Legs Trail Runs
  • Overall Male and Female Winners, each receive $50.00 and a free entry
  • Medals for the top 3 in each class
  • Various other prizes are handed out like; a water bottle, 48 pack of GU, or a RoadID gift certificate or Injinji Socks
  • Series points winners and KOM challenge winners receive a handmade box by Vanornum Woodworking valued at $200.00

Time Trial Training Rides
  • Overall Male and Female Winners, each receive a free entry
