SVE is excited to present the San Jose Offroad Duathlon. This is a great way to practice your cross training. We promise a tough course. We have added a sprint distance for all you beginners or MTB riders wanting to try something new!
This event will be run concurrent with our mountain bike race. If you are a beginner or seasoned athlete this will be a great event for you.
Course: 5k run, 13 mile bike, 5 k run. All on trails.

Swag: Drawstring bag and a T shirt to preregistered entrants. All finishers get a medal.
Pricing: $65.00 until 1-16-10.
Post race food will be served.

Dirty Gears Mountain Bike Races
- Expert Class (Cat 1) - $100.00 for overall winner
- Sport Class (Cat 2) - $75.00 for overall winner
- Beginner Class(Cat 3) - $50.00 for overall winner
- Men and women each get the prizes

- Medals for the top 3 in each class
- Winner in each class receives a water bottle, 48 pack of GU, RoadID gift certificate or a tube

** 10 persons minimum in Expert must be entered, 20 persons in Sport, and 30 in Beginner. So call
your friends. Experts must have their USA Cycling License, you cannot change on site. We also have
prizes for each class.

- Overall Male and Female Winners, each receive $50.00 and a free entry
- Medals for the top 3 in each class
- Various other prizes are handed out like; a water bottle, 48 pack of GU, or a RoadID gift certificate
or Injinji Socks
- Series points winners and KOM challenge winners receive a handmade box by Vanornum Woodworking

Time Trial Training Rides

Mix of singletrack and fireroad, one very technical uphill and one very technical downhill. Most likely 3 short hike a bikes.
5 k run start on road exiting transition.
